UPDATE 11/13/20 - Terre Haute Police Department reports that Theotis Gordon, 21, was apprehended on an arrest warrant for burglary and aggravated battery in Milwaukee, Wis. Thursday, in connection to the shooting at the Highland Quarters apartment complex last month in Terre Haute.


UPDATE 10/29/20 -  Theotis Gordon is wanted in connection to the shooting. An arrest warrant was issued for Gordon for on an arrest Thursday for aggravated battery and burglary. Call police with information on his wherabouts.

Indiana State University students were told to avoid the south side of campus Wednesday morning after one person was shot multiple times at a nearby apartment complex.

Emergency crews responded to Highland Quarters, located just off campus, in the 600 block of Cherry Street around 10 a.m. The suspect --- described as a black male, height around 6-feet, 1-inch tall, was seen fleeing the scene in a vehicle. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt with black stripe.

​The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

According to the Terre Haute Police Department, the shooting was a targeted attack.  Call ISU police or THPD with information on the case.
