Indiana Central News A Terre Haute man was arrested after reportedly being struck by a train Tuesday night. Guy M. Bosserman, 67, was booked into the Vigo County Jail just before 10 p.m. He is charged with felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor obstruction of traffic. Bosserman suffered minor injuries in the incident and was treated and released at a local hospital prior to being released to the jail. According to the Terre Haute Police Department, officers responded to S. 10th ½ and Poplar Streets on a report of a train hitting a pedestrian around 8:30 p.m. Police say Bosserman was standing close enough to the tracks during the incident, that he was struck on an arm by the moving train. "Upon further investigation it was found, that while waiving obscenities to the train from about a foot away from the tracks," he was struck, a spokesman for the THPD said. Comments are closed.
