Thomas Morson, 20, was booked into the Vigo County Jail. He is charged with misdemeanor resisting law enforcement, and the theft warrant. According to Terre Haute Police Department Public Information Officer Ryan Adamson, an unknown caller advised central dispatch they believed they saw murder suspect Buddy Ellinger in the area of Lafayette and Maple Avenue yesterday at about 5:30 p.m. Uniformed officers reportedly spoke to a woman in a vehicle parked on the lot of the Circle K gas station. "While speaking to the women two men got out of the back of the vehicle and fled. Officer recognized one of the men as Thomas Morson, who they knew to have an active warrant for theft," Adamson said, adding that Central Dispatch then received a call stating Thomas was hiding in a local hair salon in the area.
