-- By Lucy Perry Indiana Central News Multiple agencies searched the area just south of Terre Haute for hours last night after robbery suspects fled the mall in a van on US 41. Terre Haute Police Department officers were called to the Honey Creek Mall on a report of a robbery around 10:15 p.m. A security guard was yelling for help after the suspects, a man and a woman, fought him before fleeing the scene, according to scanner traffic. Injuries were not reported at the time. Officers responded to the area behind the mall, at the Vendor's Village entrance, to investigate the incident. Indiana State Police, West Terre Haute Police and the Vigo County Sheriff's Office responded to assist in the search for the suspects. The suspect vehicle reportedly crashed near Jessica Drive, just off US 41, and the suspects fled on foot. Officers were searching an area near Ivy Tech Community College and around Dixie Bee Elementary School in a wooded area just after the suspects fled from the crash, according to scanner traffic.
