Story originally posted 12/18/17 -- By Lucy Perry Indiana Central News Two suspects were taken into custody when city police responded to a report of a person with a weapon allegedly outside a house located just off South Seventh Street last night. Terre Haute Police were called to the 600 block of Swan Street on the report of the gun incident around 5 p.m. Investigation revealed that one man, Richard Maloney, 37, of Terre Haute, was wanted on several warrants and the other, Larry Pine, 26, of Terre Haute, was arrested on several charges, including intimidation, possession of meth and carrying a handgun without a license. Public Infomation Officer Ryan Adamson explained that Maloney was arrested for several city court warrants, including criminal trespass, operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license, failure to stop after an accident, driving while suspended, speeding and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. "The call was a person with a weapon call, but officers found that Richard and Larry got into an argument which led to Larry threatening Richard," he said. Both suspects were booked into the Vigo County Jail just before 6 p.m. Comments are closed.
