Indiana Central News A man was arrested after police say he broke into a Terre Haute residence yesterday morning. Jason W. Cunningham, 37, of Terre Haute, was booked into the Vigo County Jail around 9:45 a.m. He is charged with burglary, auto theft, residential entry, resisting law enforcement, maintaining a common nuisance, escape from lawful detention and felon carrying a handgun. Terre Haute Police Department officers were dispatched to the house in the 2100 block of Poplar Street and were given a description of the burglary suspect -- a white male with several tattoos, including many on his neck. The resident was inside the house, upstairs. He reported that several items were taken from his home. Cunningham was located on the back deck of a house a short time later. "Officers located some of those items on Jason Cunningham’s person and in the immediate area," according to the Terre Haute Police Department. Comments are closed.
