Indiana Central News The ongoing Vigo County Sheriff's Office investigation into the death of a young disabled child has resulted three additional charges being filed against the four defendants in the case --- after officials say an amount of meth was found in his system during the autopsy. Hubert Kraemer,56,Robin Kraemer, 53, Chad Kraemer, 33, and Sarah Travioli, 30, all of Rosedale, are now additionally charged with: Maintaining a common nuisance – controlled substances - a Level 6 felony and visiting a common nuisance - controlled substances -a class A misdemeanor. "The additional charges stem from Cameron’s testing positive for methamphetamine during autopsy," Chief Deputy John Moats said.
The three suspects were arrested on a warrant Feb. 22 , the day after Cameron Hoopingarner, 9, died of what was confirmed to be starvation. The child -- weighing less than 15 pounds at death -- was blind and had been diagnosed with cerebral palsy as an infant, before being entrusted in the care of Robin Kraemer, his legal guardian. Initial charges for the three include: Neglect of a dependant resulting in death, neglect of a dependant that endangers the dependant and failure to make a report. The suspects also reportedly tested positve for meth just after their incarceration in the Vigo County Jail.
