Indiana Central News Four suspects, all of Rosedale, were arrested on several child neglect- related charges resulting in the death of 9-year-old Cameron Hoopingarner-- after officials allege the child died of starvation while in their care earlier this week. All four have since tested positive for illegal drug use. Chief Deputy John Moats, of the Vigo County Sheriff's Office, explained that each of the four suspects, Robin Kraemer, Chad Kraemer and Sarah Travioli and Hubert Kraemer have an additional charge of felony neglect of a dependent -- due to testing positive methamphetamine in their systems at the time of their arrests Wednesday. He notes that all of the suspects, with the exception of Hubert Kraemer, had also tested positive for THC. The autopsy showed the cause of the child's death was starvation. The boy was diagnosed with a birth defect, cerebral palsy and blindness. He was malnourished and weighed less than 15 pounds when he was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning and died. The suspect remain in custody at the Vigo County Jail. The investigation is ongoing at this time. -- See related story Comments are closed.
