![]() Emergency crews responded to a northern Vigo County crash this afternoon, where officials believe a Terre Haute man drove off the roadway due to experiencing a medical condition. Gregory R. Lough, 23, suffered minor injuries in the wreck and was transported to a Terre Haute hospital after crashing into a tree around 1:20 p.m. Indiana State Police and Vigo County emergency agencies responded to the one - vehicle crash on Devonald Avenue just east of Rosedale Road. ISP Sgt. Joe Watts explained that Lough’s silver 2008 Chevrolet HHR was eastbound on Devonald Avenue and left the roadway on the south side, traveled approximately 30- feet, and struck a tree. “It appears the driver [Lough] may have suffered a medical episode and lost control," Watts said, adding that Lough was transported to the hospital for general treatment and observation. The crash was investigated by ISP Master Trooper Jason Owen. Assisting were ISP Sergeant Joe Watts, Vigo County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Hopper, Otter Creek Fire/Rescue, Trans Care EMS, and Lambert’s Towing. Comments are closed.
