Indiana Central News A Terre Haute woman was injured after police say she pulled into the path of another vehicle near the entrance of the mall yesterday morning. Beverly Gorby, 58, was transported to to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries suffered in the crash. Indiana State Police and Terre Haute city emergency crews responded to the two-vehicle crash on S. US 41 at Davis Avenue, just before 10 a.m. ISP Sgt. Joe Watts, said today that while the investigation is ongoing, it appears that Gorby, driving a 1994 Buick, may have disregarded the automatic signal. "Gorby was westbound across US 41 from Davis Avenue, attempting to enter the main entrance of Honey Creek Mall. In doing so, Gorby drove into the path of a southbound on US 41 blue 2008 Dodge car," Watts explained, noting the other Terre Haute driver, Michelle Payton, 35, was not injured. Terre Haute Fire Department paramedics and Terre Haute Police assisted at the scene. Comments are closed.
