Indiana Central News A Terre Haute man accused of killing a local radio personality has pleaded guilty.
According to Vigo County Prosecutor Terry Modesitt, Donald S. Featherstone, 48. admitted to his involvement in the apartment burglary that resulted in the brutal death of 44-year-old Matt Luecking. He pleaded guilty to felony murder, which occurred during the October 24, 2016 burglary at Village Quarter Aparrments on the east side of Terre Haute..
Sentencing for Featherstone, one of the defendants in the case, is set for the afternoon of April 4 in Vigo Superior Court Div. 6.. The plea bargain calls for the defendant to be sentenced to a maximum of 50 years executed at the Indiana Department of Correction. "The minimum sentence he is facing for the felony murder charge is 45 years.
