Indiana Central News A Terre Haute man was arrested on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop last night. Joshua J. Hart, 29, was booked into the Vigo County Jail around 6:30 p.m. and charged with:
Indiana State Police Trooper Rondell Shelton initiated a traffic stop on the pickup truck just north of S. 19th and College Avenue shortly after 5 p.m. Further investigation revealed Hart was wanted on an active warrant out of Vermilion County, Ill., on probation violation charges. Sgt. Matt Ames said Hart showed signs of being under the influence and refused to submit to a certified test. During a subsequent search of Hart’s vehicle, paraphernalia and legend drugswere located, Ames said, noting that legend drugs are drugs that are approved by FDA and dispensed to the public only by prescription of a licensed physician.
