Indiana Central News The subject in last week's Terre Haute police -action shooting was released from the hospital yesterday and booked into the Vigo County Jail. Jeremy R. Ross, 37, of Terre Haute, is now facing a slew of charges in connection to the incident on the city's east side, in which he allegedly brandished a handgun during a traffic stop Friday night. His charges now include two counts of attempted murder --- for the two officers conducting the traffic stop. They allege they fired their service weapons at the suspect when he displayed the gun. Ross appeared in Vigo Superior Court 3 this morning. According to Indiana State Police Sgt. Matt Ames, the suspect initially was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, (two counts) a Level 4 felony. Additional charges filed:
