Indiana Central News A memorial for a beloved K9 officer is being planned after the 9-year-old dog died last weekend. Arie passed away Saturday night from medical complications. The German Shepherd and his partner Sgt. Justin Sears were together seven years at the Terre Haute Police Department. "Over the past seven years, the pair has been responsible for many suspect apprehensions as well as many narcotic arrests," Public Information Officer Ryan Adamson said today. "Sgt. Sears and Arie were inseparable and their bond is something that will never be forgotten."
His colleagues at the department remember Arie for his hard work and daily effort. They ask that the community keep thoughts and prayers on the Sears family while dealing with the loss of a family member.
Plans for the memorial will be announced at a later time. Comments are closed.
