By Lucy Perry Indiana Central News The Terre Haute Police Department is investigating an early morning gas station robbery on the city's north side. Around 1 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Jiffy Mini Mart on N. 25th Street on a report of a robbery. Information is limited at this time; However, a clerk was reportedly struck in the head by the suspect. The clerk declined medical treatment at the scene. Investigation revealed two males entered the store with handguns. According to the Terre Haute Police Department, two males fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money prior to officers' arrival. "The suspects are described as a black and white male with masks," the report states. Several officers responded and secured the scene. More information will be provided once it becomes available.
