Indiana Central News Police are warning local citizens and businessowners to be careful when collecting cash. According to Public Informaion Officer Ryan Adamson, of the Terre Haute Police Department, there has been an recent increase in reports of counterfeit bills. "We are receiving more and more reports of “production money” being used to buy goods in the Wabash Valley," Adamson said, adding, "This money is bought legally on eBay, however is illegal to pass." If you suspect you've received a counterfeit bill, the U.S. Treasury advises you to do the following:
