UPDATE: THPD investigating late night stabbing on city's north side

UPDATE - Frederick E. Whitlock, 55, of Terre Haute, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated battery, two counts of criminal recklessness and invasion of privacy. Whitlock was booked into the Vigo County Jail around 4 a.m.

The Terre Haute Police Department is investigating a stabbing tonight on the city's north side.

Emergency crews responded to the 1000 block of Third Avenue around 10:45 p.m. and secured the scene.

​Two people were reportedly transported to a local hospital.

More information will be provided once it becomes available.
