Indiana Central News One man is in jail after a woman was transported to a local hospital to be treated for a puncture wound involving a set of pliers he allegedly threw at her last night. Brant R. Rardin, 44, of Terre Haute, was booked into the Vigo County Jail at about 8 p.m.last night. He is charged with level 6 felony domestic battery. According to the report, emergency crews were dispatched to the 2000 block of North 11th Street on a report of a stabbing at about 7:15 p.,m. Public Infromation Officer Ryan Adamson, of the Terre Haute Police Department. explained that officers found the victim had suffered injury to her left leg. "The female victim told officers that Brant Rardin had thrown a pair of pliers at her causing the injury," Adamson said. Comments are closed.
