UPDATE: See related story UPDATE: The child has been reunited with his family, police report just before 1 p.m. -- Officers were dispatched to 19th and Crawford Streets this morning in reference to a young child found wandering unattended. Upon arrival just after 9 a.m., officers located a blonde child named Christopher, about 4-years-old, who had been riding a tricycle in the area. A man in a black pick-up truck discovered the boy in the road just north of the intersection and sitting on the tricycle in the roadway. He took him to a nearby residence and contacted police. Terre Haute Police Public Information Officer Ryan Adamson said an attempt was made by uniformed officers to locate the child's home, however was ultimately unsuccessful. The child was transported to THPD Headquarters where juvenile detectives are working on finding the child's home.
