Indiana Central News A Terre Haute man is charged in connection to a hit-and-run after a witness to the crash followed the suspect's vehicle as it fled from the scene yesterday. Anthony Warrington, 41, has been charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident resulting in bodily injury. Terre Haute Police Department officers were dispatched to South Third and Farrington Streets to a hit and run crash at about 6 p.m., where one of the vehicles, a Ford F150 pick-up truck, was on its side and the other vehicle had fled the scene. One driver was transported to an area hospital, where he was treated and released for injuries suffered in the crash, Public Information Officer Ryan Adamson said. "The Terre Haute Police Department would like to personally thank the witness in this case and remind people to pay attention to their surroundings, as you never know when you may be able to help solve a crime," Adamson said. -- See related story Comments are closed.
