![]() By Lucy Perry\ Indiana Central News Road conditions are poor across the Terre Haute area tonight as the temperature drops. According to scanner traffic, all police agencies are working numerous weather - related slideoffs and crashes. Officers are decribing several streets as being a "sheet of ice." One woman lost control of her vehicle on Hulman Drive, just east of Paul Dresser Avenue. She and her baby were reportedly uninjured after the green Ford passenger car left the roadway and came to a stop in a ditch around 6:30 p.m.. Passersby stopped to assist at the scene. Snow accumulation was expected to be about two inches. Wind gusts are causing drifting snow and poor visibilty. Officials ask drivers to remember to slow down, increase following distances and leave room to stop at intersections. Comments are closed.
