Emergency crews from the Terre Haute Fire and Police Departments responded to a two-vehicle crash tonight that involved a law enforcement officer's SUV.
A Vigo County Sheriff's deputy said the rear- end of the vehicle she was driving was struck by the Dodge Caravan at about 7 p.m. at the intersection of South 14th Street and Wabash Avenue. A 21-year-old male occupant of the van reportedly suffered neck pain.The deputy was not injured. The Sheriff's Department Ford SUV sustained slight damage and the van sustained extensive front-end damage. -- In a separate crash, on South U.S. 41, a two-vehicle crash involving a Trans-Care Ambulance and a passenger car occurred near Starbucks about a half hour later.
