 Atterson/ Johnson County Jail  UPDATE 12/28/20 - Philip Atterson was booked into the Vigo County Jail Monday around 11:30 p.m. He is charged with murder.
---- By Lucy Perry Indiana Central News JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. - A man wanted for the murder of a Terre Haute woman is in custody after reportedly turning himself into authorities in Johnson County Monday. Philip Atterson, 29, also of Terre Haute, was booked into the Johnson County Jail on the Vigo County Warrant around 6 p.m. According to the Vigo County Sheriff's Office, Atterson allegedly murdered the woman Christmas Eve. The body of Sarah L. Henderson, 38, was found by officers the following day in a storage unit on Springhill Drive. Officials expect the suspect to be transported back to Vigo County to face charges soon.
