Indiana Central News A Paris, Ill. woman was killed in a fiery crash in Vigo County early this morning. The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office and New Goshen Fire Department responded to US 150 in Libertyville in around 2 a.m. "Upon arrival officers discovered the vehicle had been involved in a violent crash and had caught fire. The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle is believed to be a 28 year old female," according to the Vigo County Sheriff's Office. Due to the condition of the victim's remains, identification is pending. However, the cause of her death was determined to be blunt force trauma. The victim apparently overcorrected causing the vehicle to leave the roadway,strike an embankment and ultimately returned to roadway on fire, according to a press release. Comments are closed.
