A Johnstown man is facing serious charges after allegedly abusing a woman over the span of more than a year and posting explicit photos of her online without permission.
Sean Crawley, 34, was charged after the victim came forward in June 2025, reporting a series of alleged abusive incidents dating back to September 2024. According to a criminal complaint, the woman provided police with a detailed timeline of abuse as part of a Protection from Abuse (PFA) application and also reported her concerns to Victim Services.
Alleged Incidents Include:

Feb. 2024: Crawley allegedly punched the woman in the back of the head.

May 2024: Threw an object at her, leaving a bruise.

July 2024: Pushed her down, kicked her in the temple.

July 2024: Attempted to strangle her and covered her face with a pillow, threatening to kill her.

Sept. 2024: Punched her in the face, leaving a gash near her eye.

Oct. 2024: Slammed her head into a car window while she was driving.

Dec. 2024: Threw her off a bed, kicked her, hit her with a guitar, and tried to put her in a headlock.

Dec. 2024: Attempted strangulation and distributed illicit photos to her mother and online.

Feb. 2025: Punched her in the face.

March 2025: Vandalized her home and destroyed a TV.

May 2025: Broke into her home twice—once through the door and once via a second-story window, damaging both entry points.
In June 2025, the victim was granted a temporary PFA after presenting photographic evidence and a statement to law enforcement. However, despite the court order, Crawley allegedly continued to harass others regarding the victim.
